18+/"Not Safe For Work" (NSFW) Rules

  1. This forum is 18+, so we trust that everyone who accesses and posts on the site is at least 18. Anyone who turns out to be below that age will be banned. An underage ban will eventually be lifted after the banned user in question has turned 18.
  2. This forum as a whole is considered NSFW - i.e. one should not be looking at this site whilst at work. Nonetheless, explicit content should be contained in spoiler tags. Some adults do prefer to avoid seeing explicit images/videos without warning. To hide things in spoilers, use the following Markdown patterns

                    Spoiler Image:  !||[image name](image's ID number OR sha256 hash)
                    Spoiler Block:  [spoiler]content[/spoiler], or [spoiler="summary text"]content[/spoiler]
  3. Real-life explicit images/videos are forbidden, and explicit images/videos with more "contentious" fetishes (listed below) are also forbidden.
    • Gore/Guro
    • Body waste - e.g. urine, feces
    • Underage - e.g. loli, shota, cub (for furries/anthro art)
    • Bestiality, zoophilia

Etiquette

  1. While you are not required to personally like everyone in the forum, it's always possible to be courteous, minimize hostility, and keep discussions civil.
  2. Whenever posting a creative work that's not yours, provide a source if possible. Additionally, posting such work that's not yours and claiming it as your own work is plagiarism, and will be hit with a warning.
  3. The graph structure of threads is not something most people are used to. We'll need some time to explore this format, and figure out etiquette guidelines tailored to it.
  4. In a given thread, try to not get too far out into the weeds with regards to tangents.
  5. Generally, no spamming or being obstructive. Once again, we'll see how the graph structure plays out.

Discouraged Thread Topics

  1. "Two Minutes Hate" Threads | Threads dedicated solely to bashing and deriding things, without even trying to extract any valuable or informative insights, are highly discouraged.
  2. Discussions about banned users | People do deserve to be informed of why users get banned, and this will be done via a locked "Ban Announcements" Thread in Rules + Announcements. But there will be no further discussion about banned users, as those tend to devolve into hate-threads as described above.
  3. Threads asking to volunteer as Staff (i.e. Mod or Admin) | There's nothing wrong with wanting to help out the forum via adopting a Staff role, but Staff roles should not be casually given to anyone who wants one. Discussions about recruiting Staff will be hosted by existing Staff in dedicated threads over in Rules + Announcements.

Forbidden Behaviors (can result in a harsher punishment - e.g. a ban)

  1. Doxxing | No posting/spreading of doxxes or personal information allowed - e.g. phone numbers, addresses, or other personal/business information. This can also include real names or photos of people who have not personally made such information public
  2. Flagging campaigns | This forum site will not be host to any attempts to organize - or encourage others to join - mass-flagging/false-flagging campaigns against anything, both within this forum site and over in other places
