That's quite the gap between the content reveal stream and the update's launch.
Though I understand it's because so much is being affected, especially by providing the next big iteration of the endgame. So best to test it all.

The very end of the content reveal has Jonathan Rogers talk about the plan for the 1.0 release.
v0.5 will be the <strong>final</strong> update before the 1.0 release.
1.0 will not be released in August (as per the usual schedule); the plan is to release it within 2026, but after Exilecon 2026 - takes places during 2026-Nov-07 through 2026-Nov-08, for reference.
We can expect that 1.0 will be larger than even this update, and that the POE2-related stuff revealed at Exilecon 2026 will relate to Acts 5 + 6.
Between now and then, POE2 will get smaller updates focusing on improving what's already in the game, plus some event leagues to remix existing stuff for the fun of it.</section>
