I implemented a "flood checking" setting to limit how frequently a user can create new posts/threads, and edit existing posts.
For now, the required waiting time between posts and post edits is 60 seconds.</section>

<section>Implementing "Anubis" to ward off AI scrapers and bots.
This will be interesting, tweaking it to strike a good balance of friction.
I know that anything that dynamically sends a request is at risk of being disrupted by Anubis, but having this now rather than later will help in the long run.</section>

You can opt into RECEIVING private messages by going to your User Panel and picking "Change Options" and enabling + saving the appropriate setting.
Was definitely important to get that in place.</section>

I also have a way to disable specific users from being able to modify their own avatar - e.g. a punishment for setting an avatar to be something that goes against the rules.
Also added "last edited" message at the bottom of edited posts.</section>

Even more important was implementing a "Block list".
As of now, its purpose is to block specified users from communicating with you with Private Messages.
The user panel page for modifying your block list also makes reference to a "buddy list"; that will be implemented later.</section>

The "Buddy List" has been implemented alongside the Block List, along with a setting to restrict receiving PMs from Buddies only.

<section>Upgraded the "search" menu in the bottom-left to a full on navigation menu.
The "To First Post" and "To Latest Root" buttons are moved to this new navigation menu.
It has lists of the roots and replies in the thread, for quick navigation.
The search bar works well too; clicking on the ID of a found post will scroll your roots/replies list to that exact post Id as well.</section>

The current "mediagrid" look does kinda rough still, because it's... well, the individual images still have their own widths/heights.
If I wanted to make it more uniform, I'd need to force all the thumbnails to have the same dimensions + aspect ratio, and zoom in to the center of the image a fair amount.</section>
