Set up a new attachment uploading system, and disabled the old one that would be triggered by dragging files into the post body text-area.
This should make it easier to implement uploading WEBM videos, later on.</section>

The new system for previewing a new post should definitely be handy, since it lets you not only see what its content will look like, but you can get a feel for its position too.

<section>The graph is pretty fun. One thing I like about it is I can stretch a thread over 2 monitors better than conventional forum threads.
I have a few suggestions for your consideration:
1. Visible avatars on the post body. Without many users, this is not a useful feature, but when a lot of different regular users show up, it might be nice to spot their posts by a smaller version of their avatar. Alternatively, if users could select from custom border types to differentiate themselves, or if the thread's OP had a special kind of border so it was easier to spot their posts, that could be useful.
Of course, these visual suggestions are all to-taste, and I can also see the merits of no different visual aspects to posts in threads.
2. There's currently a limit to how closely a user can zoom, which is good for general use, but I noticed I can't CTRL+Scroll zoom to get larger text, like most other websites support. That could be an accessibility issue for users who need larger-than-normal text on their screen.
3. I see there are ways to toggle most parts of the interface, but the new post form prevents navigation from being shrunk currently, so a way to hide that when reading would be nice.
4. Selectable local timezone feature in the profile(private), for timestamps you see on others' posts.
5. Mousewheel click support (for the panning tool that moves in the direction of the cursor, I don't know the official name of it... but I often use it on long threads) and maybe arrow key support.
6. Slightly more text formatting would be nice (bold, italic, etc.)
7. Not related to general use & accessibility, but you could consider adding polls for when you want feedback on specific updates to the forum.
Some other features I've been enjoying here:
- Grabbing & moving posts. Yay!
- Treedulna layout, it's very cute & easy on the eyes.
- I like doubleclick-to-jump on arrows, though not many threads are long enough to warrant use of the feature yet, since it only jumps a little bit.
- The image and other embeds work nicely.
- Preview functionality is good.
- "Reorganise" feels good as well, it's thematically very appropriate in the sense that the graph changes how you think about and interact with the text. It's giving you another way to think about it.
It's a shame that web development trended towards the staunchly vertical in more recent years, since it makes it harder for more horizontal layouts like these to feel smooth and correct, since the hardware you use is itself made to match standard vertical.
One of the ways games have made that feel smooth is using screen-edge mouseover scrolling, and clickable "minimaps". I wonder how well features like that would work on a forum? (Though from what little I know of webdev it would be quite tricky to pull off.)</section>

For <strong>added</strong> measure...
We got <strong>bold</strong>, <em>italic</em>, <span class="post-underline-text">underline</span>, and <s>strikethrough</s>.
Using the BBCode tags, no less.
The post form has buttons to quickly create bold/italic/underline/strikethrough text, for added measure.
And yes, it's possible to do <span class="post-underline-text"><em><strong>bundertalics</strong></em></span>.</section>

This is great! I really like that you can nest spoiler tags - it's a very useful feature for separating points outside of the obvious spoiler related use.
I also like the new changes to navigation, they are working very smoothly.
I'll be testing how well timestamps are working on this post as well (noting my local time). Thanks for adding that (:
One odd thing I noticed during an internet brainfart is that the site displayed in the default layout colours(<em>Jovian Embers</em> style) while loading, then switched to my current setting <em>Treedulna</em>, causing some flickering whenever loading a new page here.
It might not be noticeable to people on faster connections, but for people switching between light and dark mode layouts, it could potentially be a bit annoying.</section>
